Poetry
it happpens in stages, genocide across the ages,
lest we forget, we are doomed to regret,
for the horrors of our past shall always last, you see it happens in stages.
First they shout ‘race, colour or creed’ you aren’t of my breed,
blood’s thinker than water,
we march you off to eventual slaughter,
your blongings are mine you dirty filthy swine.
The world sits idly by knowing people will die.
People watch and partake in this horror,
knowing you won’t last much longer,
with active participation from all across the nation,
this vermine erradication will soon be over….
But then…liberation….survivors live to tell their tales,
how their hope in god never failed, and so humanity won’t forget,
equality not annimosity is our future grace.
We must stop this race hatred,
so others dont make the same mistakes as they did.
It seems a simple task to repent for sins of the past,
but how comes forgiveness never lasts?
And once again, they shout ‘race, colour or creed’,
you aren’t of my breed.
Bloods thicker than water,
we march you off to eventual slaughter.
You see it starts off smaller,
one mans vision for his political corner;
this grows and the momentum explodes,
as the movement gains pace, people give chase,
we don’t have the smae faith, segregation now in place
“we’re just following orders, now line up to be slaughtered”.
See death is a task that continues to last,
genocide across the ages, unfortunately nothing changes!
How did they ever get away?
Racists that still live and chant today, see how can this be right?
People too affraid to fight, to stand up for what is right?
Righteous people preach, saying ‘listen, now hear me teach’
for your slice of the peach, these goals we must reach -
racial supremacy , it’s our legacy
‘race, colour or creed you aren’t of my breed’
STOP, now’s our time – we’ve seen these horrific crimes,
too many timess;
facts, figures and places don’t put names to faces!
Survivors stories sell how genocide is hell.
It is time to stand up and be heard “RACE HATRED IS ABSURD”
Race, colour or creed, it does not matter to me -
You see genocide across the ages,
it’s time to end the hatred.
